Lana Del Ray Makeup Tutorial

  • Start by blending a light wash of the color Shimma Shimma with a fluffy brush to the entire lid.
  • Apply Moondust to the crease of the eye and gently blend out bringing the color slightly above the crease.
  • Using a combination of Moondust and Mocha with a smaller crease brush, blend the colors into the crease and underneath the eyes. Make sure to avoid any harsh lines, this should appear as a soft wash of color on your eyes.
  • Next, the thing that Lana is known best for…her eyeliner. Using a mixing medium such as MAC, spray it directly onto your brush and dip into a corner of the eyeshadow. You can use water but it will evaporate and not work as well as a mixing medium. If you have contact solution that will work well also.
  • Using an angled eyeliner brush like MAC’s angled brow brush, dip your brush into Corrupt.
  • Make a sharp, crisp line on the outer portion of your eye. You can also use a piece of scotch tape on the outer corner of your eye to help create the crisp edge.
  • Wing out the eyeliner, making sure your lines are thick to mimic Lana’s look. Also, keep the outer parts of the eyeliner the thickest and allow it to be thinner as it comes in.
  • Go back and make sure your lines are even and the edges are clean.
  • Using the same angled brush, apply Corrupt under the eyes as well making sure to connect the top and bottom of the eyeliner.
  • Use a flesh toned eyeliner to waterline the eyes. If you have pale skin, use white eyeliner. This will help open your eyes up.
  • With a small crease brush, go back with the Mocha and Unexpected and apply over the edge of the Corrupt on the bottom of the lash line to smoke out your eyeshadow.
  • Curl your lashes, and apply your favorite mascara.
  • Last, apply a set of false lashes like Ardell’s Accent lashes. These are just for the outer corner of your eyes and will help pull your eye up accentuating the winged effect.
  • Accentuate the cheekbones with a bronzer and a soft peachy nude color to the lips. With such dramatic eyes, you want to keep the cheeks and lips played down.

How To Create A Bracelet With Letters

Hey I was thinkingm, how cool would it be really cool if I showed you how to make a lettered bracelet. I can't explain it in words, so I got this video instead. I hope you understand :)

    How To Style Scene Hair

    • Okay scene is REALLY big this year, so I thought I'd tell you how to style it.
    • 1: Scene hair is a subcategory of Emo hair. It's a creative way to add individuality to your style. It sticks out in a crowd, and is usually characterized by bright colors, layers and rigid cuts. Scene hair is an extension of your interests, specifically music.
    • 2: Decide what look you are going for. There are so many different ways to do Scene hair. A traditional Scene hairstyle includes long bangs with a slanted but layered cut. Remember, Scene hair is all about making a statement. If you hair it too short, you may want to apply extensions.
    • 3: Decide whether or not you want to color your hair or insert fake pieces. If you color, focus on chunks of your hair, not your whole head. You want to create a contrast between light and dark. For example, if you naturally have dark hair, apply white or blond streaks under your bangs and on the sides of your head.
    • 4: Comb out your hair and make a side part. The side part will be used to set a part your bang. Side-swept bangs that cover one eye are staples of Scene hair. If your bang isn't long enough, add extensions.

    • 5: With the bang separated, grab pieces of your hair at the top (crown) and begin spraying them with spritz or holding spray. Don't spray too much, but use enough to allow your hair to hold a spike. You can also use mousse, gel, pomade or whatever allows your hair to hold manipulation. The center of your head should have some type of volume. Use the comb to rough up your roots and add volume.

    • 6: Use your hands to add volume to the sides and back. You want big hair, but you want it to be smooth, as well. Spray all over with a holding spray and allow it to dry. Your hair should be strong enough to hold the style for several hours.

I really hope this helped :)
